Porsche Design Tower

132 residences

Porsche Design Tower, Sunny Isles Beach

Completed in 2017 by the Porsche Design Group, the tower holds 132 residences on Collins Avenue. Its defining feature is one most towers would treat as back-of-house: residents do not park and walk. A glass elevator takes the car itself up to the owner's floor and sets it down in a designated space beside the front door. Most homes hold two cars; the largest hold four.

The sky garage is a practical convenience and, equally, a privacy device — an arrival that no one in the lobby sees. Discreet street entrances behind an estate gate, landscaped grounds and round-the-clock security extend the same logic at ground level.

Residences run between 3,800 and 9,000 square feet on flow-through plans that open to the Intracoastal on one side and the Atlantic on the other. Finishes are specified individually — granite counters and backsplashes, top-tier kitchen appliances, marble bathroom floors with porcelain basins and whirlpool tubs. More than half the homes are laid out as duplexes with a private pool facing the ocean. Four hundred feet of white-sand beach runs along the front of the property.
