Okan Tower
Downtown Miami — 555 N Miami Avenue, Miami

Okan Tower is a mixed-use project by the Turkish group Okan, designed inside and out by Behar Font & Partners. Its silhouette curves as it rises in deliberate imitation of a tulip beginning to open — Turkey's national flower, and an unusually literal piece of symbolism for a Miami skyscraper. As of mid-2026 the tower is under construction, with completion estimated for 2027.
The site sits in the Downtown Arts & Entertainment District, which puts an uncommon density of institutions within a mile of the front door: the Frost Museum of Science, the Pérez Art Museum, Museum Park, the Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, Bayfront Park and its amphitheater, Bayside Marketplace, the Wolfson campus of Miami Dade College, Government Center and HistoryMiami. PortMiami and Jungle Island lie within three.
The pitch the developers made for the building was less about the apartment than the city around it — a place where finance, technology and art overlap, and where a comparatively young skyline still has room for a landmark. Okan Tower was conceived to be one.
