Muse
17100 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach
68 residences · 48 stories
Muse is unusually thin — 649 feet tall and only sixty feet wide, forty-eight floors carrying just sixty-eight residences. That proportion is the whole design: every home spans the full width of the building, so each one takes the ocean on one side and the Intracoastal and Miami skyline on the other, with expansive balconies at both ends. The tower is a first collaboration between Carlos Ott and the firm Sieger Suarez.
Antrobus and Ramirez designed the interiors and residences are handed over fully finished, outdoor living spaces included. Entry doors are eight-foot Italian; floors are marble and wood; cabinetry is custom Italian; master bathrooms take Dornbracht and Duravit fittings and the master bedroom carries a midnight bar. Sculptural work by Helidon Xhixha is commissioned individually for the homes. A private elevator serves each residence.
The building keeps a vanishing-edge pool above the Atlantic, a fitness center, a spa, food and drink served at the poolside in the resort manner, and parking that is fully automated. Bal Harbour and its open-air designer shopping sit just south, and Miami is roughly half an hour by car.
