Hyde Beach House

4000 South Ocean Drive, Hollywood

343 residences · 43 stories

Hyde Beach House occupies a stretch of Hollywood Beach roughly midway between Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale. The scheme splits across two structures: a single forty-three story building of 343 residences on the Intracoastal Waterway, and a separate three-story beach club set directly on the sand, with its own pool and restaurants and a shuttle running between the two.

Debora Aguiar handled the interiors. Residences run one, two and three bedrooms, with floor-to-ceiling windows, open layouts, wide terraces behind glass railings, European-inspired finishes and smart-building systems throughout. The program mixes year-round condominium homes with condo-hotel units, so the services read closer to a hotel than a residential building: room service every day of the year, housekeeping and laundry, round-the-clock valet and a secured garage, and a concierge that handles reservations, tickets and yacht charters.

The amenity list runs long. An aqua club runs kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing and jet skis; a sports club holds tennis, basketball and indoor racquetball courts; a large pool looks out over both the Intracoastal and the Atlantic. On the roof, a private lounge with a jacuzzi, sun loungers, dining space and a fire pit takes in the water on all sides. A fitness center with a cardio studio, a spa for men and women, and the Hyde signature restaurant complete the building.
