Boulevard 57
Miami Upper East Side — 5700 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami

Boulevard 57 was a proposed eight-story condominium on the stretch of Biscayne Boulevard that runs through Miami's Upper East Side, in the MiMo District. Sieger Suarez Architects drew the design, with landscape by ESG2, a sculpture by Manolo Valdés planned for the porte-cochere, an infinity-edge pool deck above, and roughly 45,000 square feet of retail at the ground floor.
The project was not built. The site at 5700 Biscayne Boulevard changed hands in 2017 and was redeveloped as The Boulevard, a rental building with ground-floor retail.
The neighborhood case that drew the proposal still stands: the MiMo District's mid-century architecture and dining strip, with the Design District, Wynwood, downtown and Brickell a few minutes away and direct access to the expressways and the beaches beyond.
